We invite everyone to join our community to celebrate our unique cultures and invest in our collective bright futures. Bear Root Resource Center aims to S.H.I.F.T. the narrative to Support, Heal, Inspire, Fulfill, and Transform individual lives and communities in all 4 directions. We are building community through our S.H.I.F.T programs. We teach people to be in relationship with land and connect to their cultural roots.
We offer monthly, quarterly (Seasonal) and Annual Community Events that are available as both in-person and virtual experiences.

Sound of Haiti Events

We are dedicated to advocating for our Sister project in Haiti. Education and wellness is a priority. Our Sound of Haiti Event will celebrate important Ayiti (Haitian) culture and history.

Love Roots Events
Our Love Roots events celebrate those we love and remember those who journeyed on. Join us as we share cultural traditions, art and music and help create a memorable experience with us!
Hike with Purpose
We invite you connect with Mother Nature and help you reconnect with your individual roots in our land. We offer Seasonal ways to connect in our Community and learn ways to incorporate in you home too. We organize our "Hike with Purpose" series, with our Community Wisdom Keepers, who will share their knowledge of the area around us, and our sacred responsibility to our Natural world.
Every 4th Saturday 7 am to 10 am
S.H.I.F.T. Seasonal Roots,Traditions & TEK
(4 times per year: March, June, September, December on the 4th Saturday)
Community Circles
We offer resources to Inspire our community members of all ages to connect during virtual and in-person community circle gatherings
(Wolf, Puma, Bear, Raven, Hummingbird, Turtle).
We will guide you to reconnect with your roots and connect with the land. We promote safe and inclusive spaces and have a zero tolerance for any discrimination.
4 Directions Solidarity Events
We invite everyone from all directions to join and celebrate life together. We respect everyone's personal Spiritual belief and unique Cultural customs and traditions. It allows us to better understand how everything is interconnected and how everything is intended to be in balance.
Our Annual benefit fundraiser celebrates our unique cultural traditions as the closing reception of our Annual retreat with our:
"4 Directions Solidarity"
